Prior to 1999, company founders Dan Calderone and Lyndon Edmonson had scoured the software packages available on the market to help them manage their own same-day delivery businesses. They found the market to be lacking a program that was feature-rich, cutting-edge, and priced within their budget.
With over 30 years of experience and a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by same-day delivery companies, they set out to develop a total software solution for the courier and delivery industry that would give larger companies the features needed to manage and control all business lines, while at the same time give smaller companies the ability to grow, compete, and thrive in an ever-evolving industry. Operating under the name Connexion Technology, they launched X Dispatch in January, 2000.
Today, CXT Software is a leading provider of Courier Software and Mobile Resource Management technology for the same-day, time-critical courier and delivery industries. We are dedicated to continue providing companies with the tools necessary to thrive and compete in an ever-evolving marketplace. That’s why our line of software products continues to grow, encompassing most every business line of a delivery company: on-demand (X Dispatch), route and distribution management (X Route), mobile applications and GPS (X Mobile), and complete Internet order and tracking capabilities (X Internet).

Dan Calderone is a founding partner of CXT Software. He is responsible for software architecture, product direction, business development and long-term business strategy.
Prior to co-founding CXT Software with Lyndon Edmonson in 1999, Dan co-founded 2-Point Courier, Inc., a startup same-day delivery company in San Diego, California. It was during this time he began developing the software platform needed to solve the unique challenges of managing the daily operations of his same-day delivery company. Order processing, driver rating, dispatching, invoicing, time recording and driver payroll/settlement tasks were united under a single software solution. 2-Point Courier, Inc. was sold in 1996 in a stock transaction to a large publicly-traded delivery corporation where Dan remained for the following three years as an Information Systems Director responsible for managing a team of IT professionals charged with transitioning newly acquired delivery companies to corporate standard business software.
After returning to Phoenix in the spring of 1999, utilizing the latest technology and drawing from his past experience as an owner of a same-day delivery company, Dan began developing a new software platform from the ground up to be the most comprehensive, user friendly, and powerful software solution for the unique business needs of same-day delivery companies. X Dispatch was officially deployed in January of the following year.
Lyndon Edmonson is a founding partner of CXT Software. He is responsible for software architecture, product direction, business development and long-term business strategy.
Prior to co-founding CXT Software with Dan Calderone in 1999, Lyndon co-founded Connection Couriers, Inc., a startup same-day delivery company in Phoenix, Arizona. During this time, he further developed the software platform originally architected by Dan Calderone of 2-Point Courier, Inc. Lyndon added functionality for planning and managing routes, manifest printing, route invoicing and route driver payroll/settlement necessary for the routed business management required by his same-day delivery company.
Although a financial partner from its inception, Lyndon dedicated his full attention to CXT Software following the sale of Connection Couriers, Inc., in June 2000 to a local competitor. Once again, his past experience as an owner of a same-day delivery company dictated the need to include the unique solutions required by those companies performing routed delivery services within CXT Software’s product line.
Lyndon holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University.
Derek Figg is the Vice President of Operations at CXT Software. He is responsible for managing software development, spearheading all phases of design, implementing new product features and providing leadership for CXT Software’s support team.
Derek joined CXT Software in 2002 as a SQL/VB developer bringing experience and expertise in the field of information technology with particular emphasis on networking, systems analysis and database administration. He has proved instrumental in the further development of CXT Software’s product line to include internet and mobile applications.
Derek studied computer science at Virginia Tech and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
Todd Wiebe is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at CXT Software. He is responsible for leading CXT Software’s sales efforts, marketing strategy, overseeing product marketing initiatives and marketing communications activities.
Todd has more than 15 years of sales, marketing and business development experience in the technology industry.
Prior to joining CXT Software, Todd held several key sales and marketing positions with AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where he worked on developing channel marketing strategies as Lucent acquired multiple data networking companies. He was part of the product marketing team at Lucent responsible for the launch of one of the first VoIP products into the market.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
