After a year of development, the company sees its first public release right at the start of a new millenium. It quickly becomes lauded within the logistics industry. While cutting-edge for its time, the first version is released on CD, requiring technicians to install the software on-site. Retro!
X-Mobile is released, a serious upgrade for drivers. Now, they can easily text back and forth with dispatchers, boosting real-time control and operational efficiency.
Competitors would go on to mimic this technology, with CXT Software once again leading the way in innovation.
New application modules are released for Routed and Distribution work, empowering couriers to tackle complex delivery schedules with ease.
With full parcel chain-of-custody tracking, couriers gain advanced information for accurate OS&D monitoring.
Always ahead of trends, CXT Software goes fully remote. This is almost unheard of at the time. With physical distance removed as an obstacle, talent can now be sourced from anywhere in the continental US. This enables the company to build an eccentric yet elite team, equipped to tackle the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.
Rapidship sees its first release, creating a cohesive application suite of Operations, Client Portal and Driver App (successor to X-Mobile). This comprehensive ecosystem delivers elegant, end-to-end management of even the most complex logistical needs.
After twenty years of diligent service, founders Dan and Lyndon step away from day-to-day operations. Shaun Richardson steps in as the new CEO, while Derek Figg takes over as new COO.
Aggressive expansion into scientific and healthcare industries begins. New features like single sign-on (SSO), specimen tracking and refrigeration tags address the unique needs of these sectors.
The application is updated with a fresh, contemporary interface, ready to take on a new era in the logistics space. With full functionality scheduled for migration completion in 2025, CXT Software is primed to partner with clients in growing industries.
