  • Improved index logic for greater CPU database performance.
  • Fixed an issue where users were receiving an error when attempting to save a route stop that required reference fields that were not visible on the form.
  • Fixed an issue where the import plugin was passing along plain text to output XML when there was an import error.
  • Fixed an issue where some users with large data sets would periodically receive a license key timeout error if the daily update took longer than expected.

    Workaround: Saving and close the new contract stop, then reopen it.
  • X Stream definition types that have values in the Key dropdown are throwing errors.
    Workaround: Click through the errors received and the new definition will be saved.
  • Cannot save new Stop Type.
    Workaround 1: Go to Legacy > Stop Types. Make any change and try to navigate away or click the refresh button and you will be prompted to save.
    Workaround 2: Go to Legacy > Status Codes first then got to Legacy > Stop Types and the save button will be enabled.
  • Identical values in Display Caption 1 and 2 in the References tab of a Customer record causes error when exporting a report in Rapidship.
    Workaround: Change one of the Display Caption values so that they are not identical.
  • Order creation fails because Legacy “Sale taxes” have an empty “item sale tax”.
    Workaround: Go to Maintenance > Sales Tax and select a Sales Tax Item value on any record that doesn’t have one.
  • Error when attempting to create a new customer when the default customer record template (CUST ID 0) does not have a surcharge rate chart value set.
    Workaround: Add any surcharge rate chart value to the default customer template. If the you do not want to use surcharge rate charts, you can set the value to any non-rate chart ID value. If there isn’t a surcharge rate chart with that value, no surcharge will be assessed.
  • Alternate Lookup in basic find is causing an error in X Dispatch.
    Workaround: Perform the Basic Find search by the customer name or customer ID instead of the alternate lookup.
  • When editing a required driver input in X Dispatch, the value will change from NULL to 0, appearing as though the field already has an entry and will not display to the driver.
    Workaround: Delete the required driver input and create a new one.
  • Unable to save RDI prompts that contain an apostrophe in the label
    Workaround: Apostrophes are currently not supported within required driver input labels. Users can save the record by removing the apostrophe from the label.
  • Find export is trying to save as .CS file instead of .CSV file.
    Workaround: Manually rename file extension before saving.
  • Application crashes when the Apply Base Rate Only check box is highlighted and a key is pressed on the customer form.
  • Cannot Save PDFs in XDW for XD because there is there is an invalid character in the file name.
    Workaround: Remove the forward slash (/) from the filename before saving the PDF.
  • Exporting of an image from Maintenance > Images fails when the description contains a carriage return.
    Workaround: Remove the carriage return from the image description.

  • Error “Either BOF or EOF is True…” received when going to Order page on X Internet if there is a default address indicated for the inet user, but no addresses present in the inet address book.
    Workaround: Add an address to the internet user’s address book. The issue only occurs in X Internet when there is a default, but no address book entries.
  • Lat/Lon values are not being copied over for cloning of Inet User Address books.
    Workaround: Run an Internet User Address Points bulk address update. This will run all the internet addresses through the validation process and assign Lat/Lon values.
  • X Dispatch throws an error when trying to save changes to mileage charge after using the Mileage wizard.
    Workaround: Use the Mile Chart Wizard to redo the calculations automatically. The issue only occurs when you manually change the auto-calculated data on the Advanced button.
  • An error is thrown when trying to update passwords through Tools when the required password field is empty on the Internet User Profile
    Workaround: Save passwords into the Internet User Profile.
  • Subscription based reports fail to export and generate an email when certain field types like TimeStamp are included.

X Dispatch 20.0.4 (August 2020)

  • Advanced reports for parcel items: CXT – Route Stop Delivery Parcel Item Over/Short Counts by Route, CXT- On Demand Parcel Items Over/Short Counts by Customer, and CXT- Routed Parcel Items Over/Short Counts by Customer.
  • Ability to view aggregation data within the new interactive charts, reports, and KPIs on the Dashboard.
  • Added additional logic to have the Find’s Bulk Rate Update and Bulk Stop Time Adjustment functionality include any records that were recently updated through the result set without having to re-execute the Find.
  • Fixed an issue where the credit card option radio buttons where being displayed on the internet user form after the Global Option was set to disable.

  • Improved new orders by automatically selecting the associated customer record’s “Default Order Type” if the default order type is valid for the pickup and delivery zones.
  • Improved the parcel list display in Rapidship to use pagination to allow for a cleaner display when large amounts of parcel data is present.
  • Added additional support for the Auto Print Shipping Label field within the Rapidship User Profile to allow for the end-user to turn the feature on and off.

  • Improvement made to always show Display origin and destination comments/remarks on an X Internet order in X Dispatch, even if there are carriage returns at the beginning of the text.
  • Created a new basic find called “CXT – Today’s Orders for KPI Default” that is used to display a KPI Pie Chart example on the Dashboard to demonstrate the new functionality created for each individual X Dispatch user. The default KPI chart can be edited or removed by each user, but the basic find will be permanently added to the database.
  • Added additional result set column descriptions and names to the new Find (BETA) functionality, to allow for a more thorough and user-friendly data display.
  • Ability to quickly add saved queries to a “Favorites” group in the Find (BETA) to allow for easier access to frequently used queries.
  • Improved system performance by adjusting the driver permissions related to accessing an order or route stop.

  • Updated the standard 4×6 shipping label to have more overflow room for longer delivery names.
  • Improved route manifests to persist the late flag after a stop completion, so individual late stops are continually shown on the manifest form, and customers can easily tell which stops caused the route to be marked as late.
Nextstop
  • Fixed an issue seen within Nextstop 3 where orders were not being removed from the originally assigned driver when the job was dispatched out to a secondary driver.
  • Enforce attachment size restrictions in Nextstop 3 when using the “Files” section to upload, so that the attachment size doesn’t exceed the max allowed.
  • Added POD Comments field on Route Stop form, so any comments that the driver enters will now display in X Dispatch.
Rapidship
  • Added the ability to print or email individual shipping labels for each piece within an order.
  • Removed the “Order Review” button from the Place Order page due to the new floating order review modal that is displayed throughout the order process.
  • Ability to search recently created orders on the Place Order page.
  • Additional data added to the Track Order Details card to display the “Pickup Ready” and “Deliver By” fields.
  • Restriction added to the authenticated and unauthenticated Track Order page, removing the ability for users to enter asterisk (*), percent (%), and underscore (_) symbols.
  • Ability to drag and drop file attachments.
  • Improved authorization functionality to force a log out for any user whose associated customer record’s account status is changed to “Inactive”, “Credit Hold”, or “Blacklisted” during an active login.
X Stream

  • Improved logic to allow X Tracking to start even when server memory drops below 5%.

  • Fixed an issue where route chaining was not always being adhered to when a user would drag multiple stops onto a route from the dispatch board.
  • Fixed an issue where the order/stop search box was taking multiple clicks to allow typing.
  • Fixed an issue where route stops that were created from route sort rules were using the “Pickup To” time for the delivery route stop’s Max time instead of the “Deliver To” time.
  • Fixed an issue with Canadian time zone date header displays.

  • Fixed an issue where creating a new internet user with an already existing user ID was overwriting the existing user instead of displaying an alert that the user id was already taken.

  • Fixed an issue where the print shipping label button wasn’t disabled until after the contract stop was initially saved causing incomplete labels to display.

Nextstop
  • Fixed an issue where syncing in Nexstop 3 could fail if there were route stops or contract stops with invalid address validation values.
  • Fixed an issue where full syncs in Nextstop 3 were not updating the driver’s “LastMobileReport” time on the dispatch board.
  • Fixed an issue where canceled orders were not automatically being removed from the stops list in Nextstop 3 when the driver did not have any other active orders assigned to them.
  • Fixed an issue in Nextstop 3 where the notification for orders that use route sort rules was being sent with the route stop ID and not order ID.
  • Fixed an issue where inactive parcel items were still being displayed within Nextstop 3.
  • Fixed an issue where status codes were not being updated on the original order when added in Nextstop on the route stop that was created by Route Sort Rules.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicate work orders were being shown in Nextstop when an order has a route sort rule for both pickup and delivery locations.
Rapidship
  • Fixed an issue where there was an edge-case minute discrepancy between Rapidship and X Dispatch rating under specific workflows that have multiple surcharge charts.
  • Fixed an issue where orders in Rapidship would fail to be auto-dispatched when the edit order permission was disallowed.
  • Fixed a temporary issue where order addresses and comments were not displaying properly within the Track Order’s “View Details” modal.
  • Fixed an issue where manually validated addresses repeatedly prompted validation.
  • Fixed an issue where Rapidship user’s template names could not be reused when switching between allowed customer accounts.
  • Fixed an issue where both the Delivery Time From and To values were being hidden when the “Show Deliver By Time” was disabled.

X Stream
  • Fixed an issue where X Stream was restarting even if there wasn’t a verified SQL instance.
  • Improved stability with X Stream processing.
  • Fixed an issue where the re-optimization process in X Stream was throwing avoidable errors.
X Tracking
  • Fixed an issue where not all stops on a route were being displayed properly on the map.
  • Fixed an issue where the session timeout warning was being thrown multiple times.
  • An unexpected error is thrown when adding a label to a new contract stop.
    Workaround: Saving and close the new contract stop, then reopen it.
  • The “Weight/Piece Break Use” container in Weight/Piece rate charts is greyed out whenever the “Revert to Distance Charge” checkbox is disabled.
    Workaround: Enable the “Revert to distance” checkbox on the main rate chart, then come back to the Weight or Piece table and enable the “Apply rate to SureRate”.
  • X Stream definition types that have values in the Key dropdown are throwing errors.
    Workaround: Click through the errors received and the new definition will be saved.
  • Cannot save new Stop Type.
    Workaround 1: Go to Legacy > Stop Types. Make any change and try to navigate away or click the refresh button and you will be prompted to save.
    Workaround 2: Go to Legacy > Status Codes first then got to Legacy > Stop Types and the save button will be enabled.
  • Identical values in Display Caption 1 and 2 in the References tab of a Customer record causes error when exporting a report in Rapidship.
    Workaround: Change one of the Display Caption values so that they are not identical.
  • Order creation fails because Legacy “Sale taxes” have an empty “item sale tax”.
    Workaround: Go to Maintenance > Sales Tax and select a Sales Tax Item value on any record that doesn’t have one.
  • Error when attempting to create a new customer when the default customer record template (CUST ID 0) does not have a surcharge rate chart value set.
    Workaround: Add any surcharge rate chart value to the default customer template. If the you do not want to use surcharge rate charts, you can set the value to any non-rate chart ID value. If there isn’t a surcharge rate chart with that value, no surcharge will be assessed.
  • Alternate Lookup in basic find is causing an error in X Dispatch.
    Workaround: Perform the Basic Find search by the customer name or customer ID instead of the alternate lookup.
  • When editing a required driver input in X Dispatch, the value will change from NULL to 0, appearing as though the field already has an entry and will not display to the driver.
    Workaround: Delete the required driver input and create a new one.
  • Unable to save RDI prompts that contain an apostrophe in the label
    Workaround: Apostrophes are currently not supported within required driver input labels. Users can save the record by removing the apostrophe from the label.
  • Find export is trying to save as .CS file instead of .CSV file.
    Workaround: Manually rename file extension before saving.
  • Application crashes when the Apply Base Rate Only check box is highlighted and a key is pressed on the customer form.
  • Cannot Save PDFs in XDW for XD because there is there is an invalid character in the file name.
    Workaround: Remove the forward slash (/) from the filename before saving the PDF.
  • Exporting of an image from Maintenance > Images fails when the description contains a carriage return.
    Workaround: Remove the carriage return from the image description.
  • An error occurs whenever an X Dispatch user tries to email settlements to drivers that do not have an associated email address and/or settlement message format within their human resources record.
    Workaround: Update the driver’s human resource record with an email address and/or settlement message format.
  • Rapidship throws an error when loading.
    Workaround: The browser’s “service workers” need to be unregistered.  Read more…
  • Error “Either BOF or EOF is True…” received when going to Order page on X Internet if there is a default address indicated for the inet user, but no addresses present in the inet address book.
    Workaround: Add an address to the internet user’s address book. The issue only occurs in X Internet when there is a default, but no address book entries.
  • Lat/Lon values are not being copied over for cloning of Inet User Address books.
    Workaround: Run an Internet User Address Points bulk address update. This will run all the internet addresses through the validation process and assign Lat/Lon values.
  • X Dispatch throws an error when trying to save changes to mileage charge after using the Mileage wizard.
    Workaround: Use the Mile Chart Wizard to redo the calculations automatically. The issue only occurs when you manually change the auto-calculated data on the Advanced button.
  • An error is thrown when trying to update passwords through Tools when the required password field is empty on the Internet User Profile
    Workaround: Save passwords into the Internet User Profile.
  • Subscription based reports fail to export and generate an email when certain field types like TimeStamp are included.
    Workaround: Do not include the TimeStamp field; as it is not supported.
  • X Dispatch Monitor – Help – View Manual results in a Run-Time error ’13’ Type mismatch.
