  • New invoice aging enforcement functionality created within the Global Options>Accounting>Accounts Receivable Aging tab that will automatically change customer account statuses to Credit Hold and Past Due when they reach the aging period set by carriers that have the new QuickBooks Online Integration enabled.   • Added functionality to the Cloud Client message center to allow users to log out of their own sessions if it were ever to become stuck and unresponsive, so customers no longer have to contact customer support for this assistance. Read more…
  • Created new “Operations” link within the Cloud Client and the Toolbar to take users to the new web interface for the CXT Software product suite.
  • Created new functionality for the 3rd party advanced route optimization feature with Wise that allows users to enable specific vehicle classes on an order type’s RO Services tab, so users can control what types of vehicle classes are included in the optimization.
  • Changed name of Maintenance >Permissions to Maintenance>Users to better explain the entire functionality of the page and added a new option to give carriers the ability to classify each record as either a user record or template.
  • Added a new field to the customer record’s Required Driver Input modal called “Prompt on this stop type:”, so carriers now have the ability to set Required Driver Input’s for any stop type of their choice instead of automatically applying it to all stop types.
  • Added the Dimensional Weight Calculator on the route stop, route stop parcel, and contract stop forms and imports. Read more…

  • Moved all of the “Legacy” pages back to their original locations under Maintenance in the left navigation. Web-based pages have been moved over to the stand-alone web-based Operations portal.

  • Added new driver logoff functionality that allows users to force a mass logout of all Nextstop users from the Global Options>Mobile tab and individual driver logouts from the driver record and the dispatch board’s driver pane right-click menu.
  • New permission-based functionality to allow drivers to create route stops for themselves, so they do not have to contact their dispatcher when they encounter additional pickups on their route that is not already on their manifest. Requires Nextstop v3.3.
  • Updated Assisted Dispatch to enforce driver capabilities and critical dates in the advanced optimization functionality.
  • Assisted Dispatch improvement to have the Wise Advanced Optimization handle orders with multiple drivers and make the distinction between pickup and delivery driver assignments.
  • Added Max Driver Radius to the Assisted Dispatch configuration, so carriers can set how far away the driver can be from the orders.
  • Added feedback messages to users that are attempting to send a driver’s work through Assisted Dispatch, so they are given feedback if the driver’s work has been successfully sent to optimization.
  • Added in a new option within the Assisted Dispatch recommended driver’s modal called “Open Driver’s Active Work”, so users could view the driver’s current work assignments.
  • Improved Assisted Dispatch route optimization to sort based on an ascending ETA column, so the results display more accurately.
  • Created a new Find to monitor Wise metrics for assisted dispatch requests to see how often the suggested driver solution was used by the dispatchers.
  • Improvements made to the in-house CXT Software route optimization performance and logging.
  • Improvements to the Advanced Route Optimization Configuration to add in a Fleet column display in the drivers section and hide unused fields when specific selections are made.
  • Updated the dispatch board’s driver pane to have more trigger actions for the “Furthest Zone/Lat/Lon/Zip” column fields, so the data displayed is more accurate for dispatchers.
  • Updated the manual user override functionality for on demand order driver pay, so it will not automatically re-rate when assigned to a driver through the dispatch board.
  • Added the following new status events within the Customer Record’s Alerts section: Order – ETA Update, Route Stop – ETA Update, so customers can set up automatic email and SMS text alerts. Read more…
  • Added new “Arrived”, “Completed”, and “ETA” status event checkboxes on the contract stop and route stop forms, so users can select whether they would like to send automatic email and SMS text alerts on individual stops.
  • Improvement made to immediately reload all drivers in the dispatch driver pane when a driver has been manually activated or deactivated.
  • Improved a delay issue with the Home and End hotkey buttons that navigate the user to the top and bottom of the order/route panes on the dispatch board.
  • Created a new “Post Routes” Permission to go along with the “Unpost Routes” permission, so users will now have a way to control who can post and unpost routes.
  • Added a new column called “SMS Text” to the customer record’s “Alerts” section, to select which status alert events the customer will be able to receive SMS text messaging on.
  • Added helptext to Customer Record>Accounting tab’s “Apply to base rate only” checkbox to better explain that surcharges are not included in the rate adjustment when disabled.
  • Improved the UI display to grey out the “w/Route Sort Rules” checkbox setting within the internet options tab of the Global Options whenever “Edit Orders” is disabled, so users know that setting won’t apply.
  • Updated the surcharge chart’s “Item Inc” list to now allow users to set a surcharge to be applied to itself.
  • Updated import plugin to recognize and parse Excel XSLT files.
  • Added StopNotesTab field to Message formats for Customer Route message formats, so carriers can now include this data in their status event updates.
  • Improved the logic for the “Furthest Zone/Lat/Lon/Zip” columns on the dispatch board’s driver pane to only include jobs that are scheduled for the current day.
  • Fixed an issue that could log users out if they enter the incorrect value when trying to change passwords.
  • Added “Updated By” data to the audit trail when deleting a parcel from a route stop parcel manifest.
  • Updated data validation for the email address field for contract and route stops.
  • Moved Light/Dark mode settings to the web-based stand alone Operations portal navigation bar and removed the toggle from the desktop Operations App.
Web-Based Operations App
  • Applied a default +/- 30-day date range to basic finds in Find Beta if no specific date range is defined within the query.
  • Improved pop up notifications for Find (BETA), so users are better informed when there are issues with their data returned in the result set.

  • Improvement made to move the Address Location Barcode functionality into the “…” action menu on the web-based Address and Internet Address pages.
  • Improved the display of the web-based Address Details pane.
  • Improvements made to increase performance when refreshing dashboard widgets.
  • Improved dashboard sharing by fixing an error when sharing with users with specific permission configurations.
  • Moved right-click option on all web-based Operations pages to the three-dot menu to preserve the browser’s native right-click menu options.
  • Improved Driver Record UI by moving the email password reset option to the 3-dot action menu on the Drivers record.
  • Updated basic ordering within the Client Portal to display and save email addresses and SMS numbers.
  • Added attachment descriptions to order and route tracking in the Client Portal to display manually entered descriptions or the default date/timestamp of when images were taken in Nextstop.
  • Improved “Stops Away” feature for Rapidship’s driver tracking functionality, so it will show the number of stops away when viewing stops other than the driver’s next stop.
  • The “Scheduled Later” time will now default to local time based on the destination or origin time zone to allow for less confusion when placing orders in different time zones.
  • Improved GPS geo location functionality by refactoring services to use the native Cordova plugin for Nextstop 3 which will provide increased frequency and accuracy for our GPS data display across our applications.
X Stream
  • Increased the maximum record display amount for the import audit log page to now show up to 5000 records instead of 500.
  • Added new dimensional weight values to XINI integration configuration files.
  • Fixed an issue where a driver stop completion that automatically adds loading/waiting time to order incorrectly removed an existing accessorial that was disabled for mobile users.
  • Fixed overtime calculations for imported orders with a delivery date on weekends.
  • Fixed an issue where the order type override’s “Amount” field was not allowing enough characters to put in larger discount amounts.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause parcel duplication while receive scanning.
  • Improved data validation for driver passwords.
  • Fixed an issue where users were receiving a pop up error immediately after starting to enter in human resource IDs in the driver record.
  • Fixed an issue with reoptimization of routes after a driver completes a “Start” stop.
  • Fixed an issue with how negative surcharges were displaying if a customer was set to use more than one surcharge chart and the conflict resolution set to “Use highest surcharge amount”.
  • Fixed an issue on the routed dispatch board where using the short cut key, “Num 6”, to dispatch multiple drivers at once was only successfully dispatching the last row selected.
  • Fixed an issue with orders on the dispatch board generating an error if the dimensional weight was too large.
  • Fixed an issue that was generating an error when assigning routes to drivers on the dispatch board.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Hide/Show column data on the dispatch board to stay in memory after the form was closed.
  • Fixed an intermittent issue where more than one order or route would be highlighted and selected when trying to drag and drop dispatch out to a driver.
  • Added “Order – Placed” event option to the Trigger SQL Event menu.
  • Fixed an issue where Message Formats records were requiring data to be entered on the Format tab when users only using the “Execute SQL” functionality on the Advanced tab.
  • Fixed an issue with saving orders after removing an attachment.
  • Fixed an issue that was displaying an error when trying to delete a route mapping entry.
  • Fixed an issue with cloning Global Return and Load stops, so they no longer include the global classification on the new stop.

Web-Based Operations App
  • Fixed an issue where users were not able to email Advanced Find results from the Find (Beta) when it included user prompts.
  • Removed requirement for a CC email address when creating new message formats.
  • Fixed an issue that was showing inactive customers in the Customers list for internet users.
  • Updated message format previews to display immediate changes to the format ,without having to save first.
  • Adjusted route stop message format dates to properly display localized and server times in appropriate fields.
  • Fixed an issue with deleting users if they had a shared dashboard with their user ID.
  • Added a friendly error message if the user attempts to set up inherited permissions from the same user record that they have open in Maintenance > Users (formerly Permissions).
  • Updated the Rapidship Client Portal Customization page, so it properly display the preview when switching between multiple Client Portal sites.
  • Fixed an issue with placing multiple orders from the cart in Rapidship when the “Schedule Later” option was being used.
  • Fixed an issue where, in some specific scenarios, all order types options were shown as unavailable when editing orders in Rapidship.
  • Fixed an issue when placing orders with accessorials in the Rapidship cart.
  • Fixed an issue that occasionally was causing the internet off-hours email alerts to not send immediately after order placement in some scenarios.
  • Fixed an issue with some Invoice dates appearing as the next day.
  • Fixed an issue where setting new parcel types within the Mobile Option Sets’ Overage Defaults section was not updating the all records properly and therefore causing Nextstop users to manually select parcel types upon scanning.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing drivers from completing orders in the mobile app if the customer email was required, but not included in the order.
X Internet
  • Fixed an issue with placing orders in X Internet if the Address 2 field contained more than 50 characters.
X Stream
  • Re-added “QueuePostProcessor” as an Export Type for X Stream definitions.
  • Internet User columns do not always sort as expected in the Desktop Operations App.
    Workaround: Click on any cell besides the header or the column that is selected, then click on the column again to sort in the other order.
  • Overtime calculations may not apply properly for imported orders when PickupDate and DeliverDate values are not set and Time Window overrides are used.
    Workaround: Populate the PickupDate and DeliverDate values on the XINI.
  • Using Hotkey / keyboard on the Dispatch board to confirm the deactivation of a driver causes the driver active work screen to open instead of confirming the previous action.
    Workaround: Use the mouse to click the confirm button to deactivate the driver instead of the keyboard.
  • An unexpected error is displayed when setting a message format on the customer record when the Message Format ID is greater than 32,767.
    Workaround: Keep Message Format ID values under 32,767.
  • Audit trails may not be viewable if the enclosing document has special characters in the id, which can occur with X Dispatch Users (Permissions section) and Inet Users.
    Workaround: Use the Legacy view in X Dispatch to view audit trails for X Dispatch users that have special characters in their User ID.
  • Changes made in Next Dispatch’s Permissions section are not being captured in the Audit Trail.
    Workaround: Use the Legacy view of Permissions to make changes.
  • After deleting a saved attachment on an order, attempting to save any other changes to the order will throw a warning that the record has already been updated.
    Workaround: Immediately save the record right after deleting the attachment. After the record has been saved, all other changes can be made.
  • When editing a required driver input in X Dispatch, the value will change from NULL to 0, appearing as though the field already has an entry and will not display to the driver.
    Workaround: Delete the required driver input and create a new one.
  • An error occurs whenever an X Dispatch user tries to email settlements to drivers that do not have an associated email address and/or settlement message format within their human resources record.
    Workaround: Update the driver’s human resource record with an email address and/or settlement message format.
  • Rapidship throws an error when loading.
    Workaround: The browser’s “service workers” need to be unregistered.  Read more…
  • Error “Either BOF or EOF is True…” received when going to Order page on X Internet if there is a default address indicated for the inet user, but no addresses present in the inet address book.
    Workaround: Add an address to the internet user’s address book. The issue only occurs in X Internet when there is a default, but no address book entries.
  • Lat/Lon values are not being copied over for cloning of Inet User Address books.
    Workaround: Run an Internet User Address Points bulk address update. This will run all the internet addresses through the validation process and assign Lat/Lon values.
  • An error is thrown when trying to update passwords through Tools when the required password field is empty on the Internet User Profile
    Workaround: Save passwords into the Internet User Profile.
  • Subscription based reports fail to export and generate an email when certain field types like TimeStamp are included.
    Workaround: Do not include the TimeStamp field; as it is not supported.
  • Entering an address in Rapidship that does not validate causes old lat/lon values from previously validated address to be used for distance calculation and could cause incorrect distances to be placed on order.
  • X Dispatch Monitor – Help – View Manual results in a Run-Time error ’13’ Type mismatch.
