As the team gears up for some big releases coming down the pipeline in 2025, we present 25.1 to sate your appetite. This release adds some quality-of-life improvements you’ve asked for, unlocks the API endpoints for the Customers module, brings the CRM Fields module into the Operations App, and delivers some back-end upgrades.

🧘Quality-of-Life🧘‍♀️

A small feature we know users loved in the now retired X-Tracking was the ability to hover over a driver in the visual display and get a popup with speed and heading based on their last GPS ping, with a handy timestamp. At your request, we’re bringing it back for the Visual Dispatch Board in the web-based Operations App, so you get the best of both worlds.

 

 

In the Client Portal, we’ve added an option to User Profiles to choose between 24-hour and a new 12-hour time format when selecting times for shipments, so your customers can further customize their experience. It’s a small touch but one we think they’ll appreciate, and we hope you will, too! 

🔓API Endpoints Unlocked🔓

25.1 also delivers API endpoints for the Customers module in the web-based Operations App. A great way you could use this would be to make bulk changes to Customer records instead of manual entry, saving you time and headspace. We’re excited to see how you can take advantage of it.

What's New 📰

In the Operations App...

  • NEW: Added more real-time info when hovering the cursor over a driver on the Visual Dispatch Board
  • NEW: Unlocked the API endpoints for the Customer module, opening the door for integration opportunities
  • NEW: Added the Maintenance > CRM Fields module
  • NEW: Attachments (files, images, etc) on recurring shipments are now always copied over to posted shipments

In the Client Portal...

  • NEW: Added option in User Profiles for a 12-hour time format, so now Client Portal users can choose between 24-hour and 12-hour time displays

What's Improved 📈​

In the Operations App...

  • Improved the behavior of the Default Customer Record (#0), so that more values migrate across when creating a new customer account, and also migrate properly when originating from the Client Portal
  • Improved behavior on the Visual Dispatch Board when assigning a shipment that has driver locked to a new driver
  • Added a visual indicator to the On-Demand Shipments form for shipments generated through Route Sort Rules, which can be hovered over for more info
  • UI enhanced for the Post/Unpost Shipments tool
  • VPOD data can now be cleared from an On-Demand Shipment when Delivered status is removed
  • Improved behavior of the Package Type field on the On-Demand shipments form
  • Improved the behavior of drop-down menus in the Maintenance > Internet Users > Options view
  • Improved tooltip display behavior
  • Improved the behavior, back-end, and ease-of-use of SSO

In the Client Portal...

  • Added a new default message that appears when the Client Portal is set to Maintenance mode “Warning! The online portal is temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance. Please contact our office directly if you need assistance during this time.” Custom messages set in Global Options > Internet Options > Internet Status > Maintenance will override this default message.
  • Improved date range behavior on the Track Order page

What's Fixed

In the Operations App...

  • Fixed an issue with exporting data from the Visual Dispatch Board Route Manifest page
  • Fixed a minor UI issue with Visual Dispatch Board Route Manifest page
  • Fixed an issue that could occur when creating new customers from a Default Customer Record if the user does not have access to that Business Unit
  • Fixed a rare issue when deleting a HR record or On-Demand Shipment record where attachments could be left as undeleted orphan files in the database
  • Fixed an incorrect warning that would display in the Visual Dispatch Board if the user lacks permission for Custom Procedures
  • Fixed an issue where not all CRM Fields were displaying on a Customer record
  • Fixed a bug where the Global Options > Dispatch Refresh Interval setting was not applying correctly to auto-refresh behavior on the Visual Dispatch Board
  • Fixed an issue were an On-Demand Shipment’s Placed time could display in the incorrect time zone
  • Fixed an issue incorrectly preventing Order Types from being sorted on the Client Portal > Place Order page
  • Fixed an issue where the “Unsaved Changes” warning was not appearing when changing a driver’s Mobile Options Set without saving
  • Fixed an issue where a cloned route could be given an invalid name
  • Fixed a rare edge-case where the wrong user would display in an Audit Trail
  • Fixed hotkey behavior on the Visual Dispatch Board
  • Fixed hover pop-ups remaining on-screen even after mousing away on the Visual Dispatch Board
  • Fixed flickering popup issue on the Visual Dispatch Board
  • Fixed UI issue in the Find Group edit panel
  • Fixed an edge-case issue where incorrect warnings were being displayed for invoices that only has shipments created by Route Sort Rules
  • Fixed an issue where users sometimes could not download reports
  • Issue where Maintenance > Drivers was sometimes displaying inactive drivers searching by fleet

In the Client Portal...

  • Fixed issues with shipment and route stop editing permissions in the Client Portal
  • Fixed an edge-case issue with shipping labels in the Client Portal

In New Driver App Updates...

  • Updated driver login to be stricter with password strength requirements
  • Fixed an issue where drivers with email addresses containing special characters could experience errors during first login
  • Error message for multiple active login sessions is more clear
