Dispatch zones are simple to set up and use, creating a more organized, efficient dispatch board.
Using Dispatch Zones
Dispatch zones can be created to override default fleets. This means that when an order is entered, it can be automatically assigned to a different fleet based on your geographical needs. For example, if your dispatchers are covering areas “North, South, and Central”, Dispatch Zones can be set up accordingly, filtering orders directly into their respective zones.
Set up Dispatch Zones in Maintenance → Zones and scroll to the right for the Dispatch Zones column. Enter Dispatch Zone names. Next, configure your Order Types(s) by clicking on the “Fleet Assignments” tab and add applicable overrides. Finally, select the fleets you want to view on the dispatch board.
