Your operators run the show controlling the considerations that weigh in on the output such as service and pickup/delivery times, grace periods, estimated traffic speeds, predicted load/unload times, ETA impact on the driver’s existing shipments, and more. ⏳
CXT Software Operations App - Assisted Dispatch

Drivers and routes that don’t fit the criteria are eliminated from the roster, and then the Assisted Dispatch tool prioritizes the remaining pool of drivers. Dispatchers are able to review the recommendations, see the recommended drivers’ manifests, update ETAs, and more before making their final selections.

Dispatchers take the lead every step of the way with Assisted Dispatch. They can select the assistance for an order or set of orders in the Operations App, opt to include specific drivers or your entire fleet, and recommendations can be set to refresh for unassigned shipments on a 5 to 15 minute timed interval of your choosing.

Whether used as a supplemental training tool for new dispatcher recruits or an extra backup for your veteran dispatchers to tackle increased shipment volume, Assisted Dispatch can take your dispatching to the next level.

What's New 📰

  • Added logic to prevent any changes to locked order rates when Client Portal users are editing orders without having the permission to view rates online.

Works in Progress 🏭

  • Unexpected error is being thrown when emailing drivers a settlement from a multi-driver settlement with the incorrect fleet.
    Workaround: Only enter in Driver IDs that are included within the enabled fleets. The error is displayed when a Driver ID is manually entered that isn’t within the user’s enabled fleets.
  • Entering an address in the Client Portal that does not validate causes old lat/lon values from previously validated addresses to be used for distance calculation and could cause incorrect distances to be placed on orders.
  • Subscription-based reports fail to export and generate an email when certain field types like TimeStamp are included.
    Workaround: Do not include the TimeStamp field, as it is not supported.
  • Lat/Lon values are not being copied over for cloning of Inet User Address books.

    Workaround: Run an Internet User Address Points bulk address update. This will run all the internet addresses through the validation process and assign updated Lat/Lon values.
  • Audit trails may not be viewable from our modern Operations App if the logged in user ID contains special characters.

    Workaround: Users with IDs that contain special characters can view full audit trail data within the classic Operations App.
  • Internet User columns do not always sort as expected in the Operations App.

    Workaround: Click on any cell besides the header or the column that is selected, then click on the column again to sort in the other order.
  • An error occurs in the Operations App when a user tries to email settlements to drivers that do not have an associated email address and/or settlement message format within their human resources record.

    Workaround: Update the driver’s human resource record with an email address and/or settlement message format.
  • Operations Monitor – Help – View Manual results in a run-time error ’13’ type mismatch.
